[email protected] SG

if i complete my 4 yrs then feel like signing on to premium plan will they increase my pay, lump sum and will there be another sign up bounty?

|-|05| SG

huh? i tot 1st contract is for 10 years only after that can you sign for another 10 years?

BaKa NeK0 SG

Nope first contract with liability( 5 years )
so dun owe them anything after that. Mr. Green

the 10 years is a something like a bonus.... if u wanted another lump sum of cash then u stay for 10 years. after that if ur performance is good then u get selected for the premium plan.

NathanG5 SG

the 1st bond ur holding now will be premium plan 1...as u oredi have said..if ur performance is gd MINDEF will offer u Premium Plan 2

guys i went to cmpb again then the guy at the counter told me ADF is only a short term contract.. u either be a rifleman or driver..not those that goes to east timor .. is it true?

NathanG5 SG

partly true..ADF is a 4years contract where u get abt 1.4k per mth..n a 7.5k ang bao money will be given to u..
the peacekeeper are mostly regular..n part of them r taken frm ADF
if im not wrong the 1st batch to Timor Leste was made of Cdos n Guards regular not ADF rifleman
but after tat batch SAF took mostly ADF pple..tats y when pple tok abt ADF they will always think of peacekeeper

[email protected] SG

Gentlemen

ADF is not Army Deployment Force nor some infantry unit attached to the air force. ADF actually is the acronymn for Army Developement Force. The role of the ADF is to evaluate new tactics and weaponry for the army. It is a fully regular company size unit and if my information source is not wrong, ADF members are cross trained in a variety of vocation such as infantry, armor and such. Please clarify what you are signing yourself up for? Smile I will not be surprised if the East Timor detachment is primarily AD. After all that is probably the closest the SAF will come to combat currently and hence the best place for field evaluations.
