What is the job nature of an RP? Will I be allowed to stay out?

I'm currently on excuse stay-in one month, excuse firearms and explosive for one month, and have an appointment with MMI due to depression, but which I will be meeting my own specialist since I have no knowledge of the date of appointment with MMI. Under this circumstance, will I be OOC?

How long is the training? Do we get a 8-5 after we finish the course? Slack or not?

Oh and what is the highest rank we can obtain in this vocation? corporal? sergeant?

chances are you'll be posted to a unit as a signaller after your course.. depends on which unit you're posted to.. but this one u might need someone who was a signaller to enlighten you.

given that you're directly posted there, highest possible is corporal first class (CFC)

Is it straight away stay in? If yes then maybe need to bring the necessary clothings?

u have to report in no.4, but dont need to bring all ur BMT barang barang..

after the first day, you should be briefed on what to do and what to bring..

What is the job nature of an RP? Will I be allowed to stay out?

RP is basically like the day guard of the camp.. usually you get to go home everyday (well at least it was the case for my camp).. but as for the RP training, u might have to stay in (again, check with the higher-ups).

if you have the excuse slip and memos from the specialist, just hand it to ur superiors as well as ur camp MO. they will decide if you OOC or not.

urs ah.. transport supervisor, if i recalled correctly its the specialist in charge of the drivers.. like ur instructions say, check with ur unit if u have to stay in..

if you downgraded, you might be revocated to be a clerk (dependent on the unit's manpower needs).

On the assumption that I am not downgraded to a clerical vocation? Do I recourse as an RP? I heard varying benefits as to being an RP-e.g.,8-5, one day off per 2 day duties and et cetera-but I am going to go on the supposition that it is entirely dependent on the camp personnel? What about training during the period in 8SIR? Is it tough? Am I suppose to bring everything from the duffel bag to the field camp, packed with all the boots et al?

yeap MP is military police.. there's no such thing as good or not good.. it's just another vocation, and like the name says, you're like the police of the military.. TS should be training school.

yes it's a stay-in course so you have to bring everything u have from BMT.

i'm not sure how it works now.. during my time (abt 3 years ago), RP training was only 2 weeks, and it was in mowbray camp (Military police camp)..

if ur instructions say to bring everything from BMT, den just bring everything lor.

frankly, i'm not quite sure what this is. maybe other members can help u with this.. but since u're reporting to an air base, i'm assuming this is an air force vocation..

jockey cap is a must to wear..

call them up whether ur even required to bring pt and underwear coz might be stayout

yea just bring those stuff u mentioned, and yes u need ur jockey cap since u're not supposed to move around in camp without a head dress..

likely that you dont have to stay in for the first day, but then again, it all depends on ur unit and ur superiors. u can call them to check, they won't eat u.
