New mega production which traces the tribulation of the rich Jia
Family, which owns the highly profitable Jin Le chain of
restaurants. It's the usual corporate struggle and divded family
problems, but so far seem pretty good.
Large cast which spans A-listers like Fann Wong, Edmund Chen, Chen
Hanwei, veteran kung-fu artist Zheng Pei Pei ( previously seen on
Ch U Yang Family Generals serial), Aileen Tan, Huang Wenyong, Huang
Yiliang, Lin Meijiao and many interesting up-and-coming new faces
like Felicia Chin, Jessica Liu (Ruan Mian Mian of Tong Xin Yuan),
Julian Hee and Candyce Toh Hui ping (Project superstar).
From the 1st episode, seen pretty good scenery shot in Australia,
many shots of luxurious restaurants, offices and the huge mansion
of the Jia Family. Pretty interesting as Mediacorp has not produced
such serial in a long time and the huge cast of both veterans and
fresh faces is engaging. Hopefully, the tight storyline and good
characterization continues as the serial develops and it does not
turn out like Tong Xin Yuan.
