Anyone know how to copy text from adobe document? Help pls..

TruFaith` SG

As of the above...i know there's a 'text select' tool button in adobe reader but when i copy the text and paste it in either words or notepad, it doesnt come out as words...either comes out as lines or a jumble of squares.

Can someone help me with this? Can it be copied or not? Thanks

Some adobe documents have been coded in such a way you can't just select and paste text , same goes for its images. Especially for where info should not be plagiarised so easily like online journals and databases. Laughing Really, I'm telling the truth coz I encounter the problems you mentioned before, lan lan I just type it out and do proper referencing.

Not all PDF documents can be copied and pasted. If you can select it, there's a high possibility that you can copy and paste it. Some do let you select, but don't let you copy and paste.

Others just make it impossible for you to select any parts of the document.

prevent plagiarism mah. make it harder for you.

just for this purpose is enough to make the .pdf format stay on for so many years, though there are other noteworthy features as well, like preserved formattting etc.
