Democracy appears in different styles in different countries. PAP might be controling too tight, but there good and bad.

Taiwan is becoming so "democratic" that their mps fight in parliament, have corruption, surf porn in office (latest news). Riots are in the country as well. If the people of Singapore wants such a "democratic" country as well, then they have to be able to accept the consiquences it brings upon.

I am not saying PAP should be all that is left. There should be oppositions. But remove PAP and leave everything to oppositions and see. They just lack the ability to run the system as well as what Singapore now is.

How would you know? What has the governent done for us post 1990.
