iF I read the article correctly, the crew ejected AFTER the
plane landed on the runway. Tire punctured on the landing (I dun
see how the tire can get punctured in mid flight!)
But how did the plane stop? Maybe its got something to do with
skidding off the runway, and without the landing gear there the
friction must be pretty big, probably stopped the plane for
them.
And the crew probably tot the plane would flip or crash or
something so they eject first, tok later. . .
Hope the crash ain't too bad.. .
