'The best bollywood movie by far...10/10'"
"A truly entertaining and inspiring story of young
vigilantes".....
Arriving in India, a UK graduate enlists a gang of college students
to participate in a documentary about India's freedom fighters.
Initially, these students scoff at the ideals and people of the
past, but ...until one of the friends whom is a fighter pilot dies
in a crash involving a defective MIG-21 and sequence of events set
in slow motion a merging of the past and present, in an uncanny
resemblance to each other. Their documentary comes alive when
the friends help the family of the dead pilot to cope with the
tragedy - and in the process the film delves deep into the murky
arms deals by politicians and defence officials resulting in their
hijack of a radio station to reach out to justice. Soon the
youngsters realise they had played out the acts of the freedom
fighters of their documentary in a gripping finale with past
historic events interweaving with their present
reality...........
The film thus serves as a means of looking at the young generation
of today as well as the yesterdays in light of the power of
suggestion and the value of friendship. It sends out an optimistic
note as it shows that youth is always responsive to great ideals
and why history and its reasons are important for self
perserverance.
