i still think the heels of WWE or WWF or whatever were nowhere
as good as those in the original ECW...
the classic heels whose characters were well hated like
Shane "The Franchise" Douglas and "The Man-Beast" Rhino
the heels whose characters were liked in "The Whole F'n Show"
Rob Van Dam and "The homicidal, suicidal and genocidal" Sabu with
their despised manager Bill Alfonso...
their faces commanded almost religious adolation.. like The
Sandman and Tommy Dreamer...
(as you can see, i've been watching way too much ECW recently
