For myself, when I was still there I wanted my parents to be 'saved' lah. But now .. err ..

Seriously speaking .. I've got more free time on Saturday and Sunday. Get to sleep more, game more, play more. In other words, I've gain more 'freedom'

I stopped praying. Therefore I had no relationship with God. I couldn't feel His presence. The bible has emphasised that the most important thing is a relationship with God. And we can only have one with Him by constantly seeking Him and praying. I didn't do that part.

The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak.

I'm human too. I have my earthly desires too. Sad to say, I gave in to them.

Why don't you try staying in a place for 6 years just to look at the gers? IF I was there primarily for the gers, I'd be gone in 6 weeks. Wink

not sure about now.... cos we're not keepin in contact.

there was once we went for a bbq, and we went to his cell group meeting immediately after we packed up with no slp... Confused

and many times, from my ex bf, i heard how he's rushing to his cell group meetings after sch...

to an extent i think it's sick that they're meeting so often..

why would someone lie to ppl about this kinda thing...? he really looked very tired... everytime i see him

Most of the money used in chc come from chc members themselves. So if its not my loss, its not my problem. Laughing

NKF volunteers "volunteer" their services 9am-9pm daily and get paid 20K monthly for their "voluntary" services. Laughing

Let me tell you how CHC works...

Children's church:
- for kids under 12.
- free tuition provided (but peeps just scrawl over the whole paper drawing pics of gundam)
- preaching of one hour
- no peer pressure of becoming a christian
- Donation (dont donate also nvm one)
- sing 2 songs
- home sweet home

Youth service:
- for peeps between 13 and 21
- preaching of 2 hours
- dance and sing
- donation (minimum $1, or else all eyes on you)
- very heavy peer pressure to force you be a christian (if not, they will insult you and your family and religion)
- cell group meeting (feedback on service)... They force you to say ONLY GOOD THINGS about CHC
- go dinner with friends and talk about CHC
- go home

Adult service:
- for adults above 21.
- Offer a portion of your pay to CHC
- Volunteer in services
- Encourage people to come CHC

JAMS church:
- for intellectually disabled.
- They try all sorts of games to teach you the bible but mostly to no avail
- no donation

TO MAKE IT CLEAR: I AM NOT A CHRISTIAN. How I know all these is because I had been to CHC from 1998-2000, 2004-2005.
Reasons:
- Tuition in kids service (I was then around P3 - P5)
- Do social service (Help those mentally retarded because my sis is one... thats why i was asked by the CHC peeps to teach there... but ended 'cause I had to cope with O Levels + some freak peeps wanted me to attend youth service also. There goes the word "I QUIT!")
