Unless it is a "Field Operative" job, most of the guys posted to
sensitive units would be the better educated kids from the "well
connected" people of Singapore Society.
The guys that get to be posted to such "soft" units would be the
kids from the 'Top Income' Groups of Singapore.
The wealthy families, whose son if ever injured, will be in a
serious position to cause MINDEF alot of embarrassment and
discomfort.
Such rich kids are oftern labelled "White Horse", and normally
assigned to "soft jobs" but still respectable.
They are normally placed out of harm's way - in the military jobs
such as being a Clerk, Draftsman, assigned a Private's job at G5,
or S1, or S2 departments, or some "soft jobs" at HQ.
