A Senior Malaysian Army Officer (Lt.Col rank) once wrote a thesis that the only way to win a war against the superior strenght of the SAF, is to poison the water supply delivered to Singapore.

If a senior officer in the MAF can harbor such a vile idea that is allowed to surface in their news publications, this must have seen official blessings.

Is our Water Treatment Plant able to remove poisons from the water supply, either added in large dose into the large volume of raw water delivered by pipelines, or deviously dumped into our resevoir that is largely open to the public ?

Beware the UMNO Politicians and their hot-blooded followers that follow their leaders without clear reason and logic.

Their culture is one of wild and inflamotory behavior, and beguiling charm to disguise the "devil within".

Depends on how they poision our water. But it's pretty redundant, if there was war, I'm sure malaysia would cut the water supply anyway, and if they did use chemical weapons, they would be inviting UN or worse, the US to take a look into the matter.

Think their special rights thing can help save their economy from economic santions?

The guile of the Malaysian Lieutenant Colonel will erase any honorable conduct on his part.

Without any hesitation, he will probably begin to poison Singapore's water supply through the pipeline, 'BEFORE' any declaration of War.

Sure, they will shut the pipe "AFTER" war is made, and after our entire water supply chain is affected, when the "pipeline water" is mixed with the Resevoir water.

you put poison into singapore water... the reservior fish will die by the thoudsands.... no need high tech EQ also can see the water kenna poison...

Likewise... if the Newater got problem... the fish will also go belly up... so... no worry about safety...

the key question should be... how does MOE clean the water for consumption... that would be the most important question... if those raw water went through a carbon filter...then most poison would be inactivated... if the water went through a micropore filtration method... NO poison can get through...

pump poison into the pipe? you know the pressure of those pipe or not? they dont make water pipe using metal for no reason one...

not too concerned about Newater actually... had a cuppa coffee with some enviormental engineering people lately... they complain that THEORETICALLY, its TOO clean cos there's absolutely NOTHING left in the Newater after reverse osmosis but hydrogen and oxygen Mr. Green

its not healthy for direct consumption... but ideal for wafer fab and other industries which requires super clean water... its a good thing that the Newater is being pumped into reservoir to regain some natural minerals and taste...

The NeWater is devoid of all minerals after passing through the highly efficient Reverse Osmosis process.

The best way to bring "life" back into the NeWater is to put ozone back into the water.

The faster way is to mix it with natural water in the resevoirs to return it to its natural state.

Personally, I think chemical warfare is the most devastating method to be used in the war. Chemicals can be bought so cheaply and produced in large amounts. Sheesh. Plus the effects are really powerful. I can't imagine any city surviving a nerve gas attack.

oh... if ever there is a chemical attack near me... i will simply rush to the nearest fire hose, sprinkler or tap and start making fountains around me...

Standing beneath a fire sprinkler by triggering the sprinkler with a lighter would be just as effective.... Mr. Green

I read from an article on the papers once, they have this hydrogen bomb or what. It has the power of a nuclear bomb, but it only kills living things, except plants. It's so good that it wouldn't reduce buildings to ash. Anyone want to correct me?

actually the neutron bomb kills all living things including plants and animals as well as humans... since its method of killing is through the use of ultra high levels of radiation that will destroy all the living cells DNA... resulting in in-repairable damages that ultimately leads to death...

So far... only 2 nation has confirmed possession of neutron bomb... USA and Russia.... PRC claimed recently that it too has perfected its neutron bomb... but thus far.. there were no third party verification to back their claim... but i would rather err on the cautious side since PRC does possess nukes...

oh... it has also been noted by astrophysist that if the earth were to be in the direct path of a massive solar blast releasing immensive amount of radiation directed towards the earth... the effect is similar to being hit by 100,000 neutron bomb...

Do not worry about poison in the water. That is already taken care of. The Malaysians severely underestimate us if they think that we do not already take this into account. That is all I will say.

no need to be so secretive lah... Tony Tan already confirmed to the press that one of the "silver bullets" the DSTA has developed is a kit that can detect chemical agents in trace amounts.

i believe such a capability will protect our external water supply.

I think they will not be that stupid...
if they really want to do it they would "ask" someone to do it which could also be a singaporean.
another thing is that... the "poison tester" is erh place where? the production end or the consumer end?
One poisoned person is capable of making everyone panic.
That will be also a big problem...

doesn't really leave much standing actually... just look at chechnya... the russians were using handheld thermobaric weapons there... really effective bunker buster / anti-personnel weapon...

kinda makes me wish SAF would consider it as an infantry weapon myself.
