4 Sep - Went for selection assessment ( Documents verfication , psychometric test, english proficiency test , height/ weight , body check up , some physical , interview )

Now anxiously waiting . Its like a waiting game );

clarence it depends on your luck too...if most of the fellow applicants have gd bmi then u will be in your disadvantage. What i know a slightly over is anything less than bmi 26. I guess your is about 27 +/-

Weight : 80

But i heard from the SGT there (regular) , he told us that overshot by a little wont really matter ? but still matters...

Maybe u want to workout or something? even if u get enlisted they will train u to lose weight. Even ur diet they will oso give u special.

2 Sept medical check up

Of course lah not shortlisted. Can only apply 6 months after rejection date. In the mean time, work on losing some weight.

I had BMI issues too but i lost 7kg in the last 2 months. At the same time, you can also work on your fitness.

I may still get rejected through failing my medical, but at least the losing of weight and getting fitter will still benefit me.

Unless your past case is really big, then theres really no issue in applying to enter SPF.

It's good to be honest in your declaration form. You dont know what the police knows. I think all they need is to catch you lying just once, and you'll be permanently rejected

Dont give up. Some of us here applied 3 or 4 times

Bro, will it be a problem if BMI category to underweight?
I just went through for second interview. I done well for 2nd interview ~btw during the interview one of the madam ask me when I will be free for medical chekcup (I still on going my diploma). I said anytime after 22th of sept.

I apply SPF through the career sg website (around mid of june)

29th of july i went for 1st interview..I only prepare for 2 strength and weakness.
During 1st interview, after I describe about myself, they straight away ask why do you want to join police.. as I dint prepare well, I just simply said is my passion and dream job.LOL ~~ then another question : What is the mission of police ? ..I get stun again, and my answer is : To be honest I donno what is the mission~ after this question I know 50/50 I am gg already.
Before the interview end, one of the sir ask me, what if you fail to join police?
I said , I will continue keep my physical and mentally fit for this job and apply again.

This time I really prepare gao gao..

For strength and weakness, they only ask one~
so I said my strength is based on my past working experience and college life ,I am able to quickly adapt different working environment and work with any partner.

Weakness
I will pay too much attention on current task ,so that i can complete it in shorter time and use the extra time to check my product, which will bring more quality.

Why you want to join police?
I answer : For me, I think police is not only a job, is a duty for a citizen as well. Since I am physically fit and healthy , I should stand up and protect our neighborhood and country. ~Then one of them ask me why not SAF? I just said both of them is a method for us to protect our country. So I choose SPF , because is a honour for me to wear blue uniform and join you guys.
After my answer , 3 of them smile =)

Then ask me about my physical level IPPT status~ (I not yet NS)
madam ask how many chin up I can do..I said 15.
The mister said they have no more question~ (another smile face )

Before I leave ,the madam ask me when do i free for medical check up? ~

Nope. I just went medical last week. Doubt they will call so fast.

Im hoping they will be fast for allowing me to enlist.
