i have just learnt that one of my friend who went SA with me on 30th oct has already received rejection email. and it was about 1 week ago..what does this mean for us who hasnt received any news or follow up?

HI Iszilliana No News means Good News!!! so dont worry...either you check your mail to see if u receive any email from police recruitment or log into www.career.gov.sg to view your application status. if show 'shortlisted' means you still got to wait. i went for my SA on June 26th and received sms from 77300 to attend interview on the 31st july. for 2nd interview they didnt call me or email but sms...so good luck!!!! there's still hope

My intake is on 09 December. Anyone here with the same intake? :)

Also, do we need to bring anything extra apart from those items stated in the letter they gave during the bond-signing session? The items seems pretty little compared to those serving police NS.

Hi AnnaHanna93, I also went for SA on nov 21! I did asked the officer how long does the whole application process usually takes. He said fastest is 4weeks and the longest he had seen is 6 months. I think is best to work part time or some full time job as it's a long waiting game.

Had been quite sometime since I posted here.

This is my timeline so far.

16sept—submitted online resume.

17sept—career status changed to shortlisted

13oct—first SA interview

20nov—received SMS to go for second interview

25nov—2nd interview

Now praying hard for medical and No rejection letter.

From 1st interview to 2nd, it takes me about 1month 1week. So those who had yet to receive any news, Good luck! As long as passed the so called danger zone of 2to3weeks, should be OK I think.

just to share, those did not receive any calls / email / sms don't worry . It is still in processing . It's pretty much slower now because there will be too many applicants !

The real wait is after medical . Let me share a little of my time line

20 May - applied jpo

27 May - received email to go SA

2 Jun - SA plus interview

21 July - Received sms for 2nd interview

30 July - 2Nd interview

25 Aug - Received call from Spf request for tattoo photos

26 Aug - Received call from Shenton Medical

2 Sept - Shenton Medical Check up

17 Nov - Received call from Spf , to go 3rd interview (tattoo clearance)

24 Nov - 3rd Interview at CID

now still waiting to management to approve my application .*prays*

Congrats Dan T! the Force is definitely with us!! today SPF emailed me to furnish them with my Certs and the recruitment officer said still in process so i guess still got chance!! Hope to see you at the same intake man!!! i told them i'm doing part time so dont have to give 1 month notice only need to serve 1 to 2 weeks notice!!!

Hi Dreiframe, ohh so u the one that first guy & end early ahh.. lol what a coincidence! yup I'm the second lady as u mention.. for mine was different abit, the interviewer ask about my family background, ask why I want to join the force then must told them my 1 strength & 1 weakness.. lastly the interviewer told me more info about the force task & consequences during the 6 months training..
