Hey guys.. Is it possible for someone to get rejected after medical checkup? What are the percentage ? Cause my friend just finished poly, have not serve NS, apply for JPO and went for medical check up and then got rejected..

Guess your frenx failed the medical is there something wrong with his health??? After medical if they reject u mean u failed ur medical or there is something wrong u had committed. ...

Hey guys, just found this topic and im so happy! So much of information and experiences shared here! Well im one of you guys! Still waiting for a reply after my medical. Here's my timeline!

23rd Aug - Submitted Online application

26th Aug - Received Email for SA

4th Sep - Selection Assesment and first interview

23rd Sep - Got a call from Shenton Medical to fix an appointment.

25th Sep - Went for Medical

And now its been like what? 3mths++

Iszilliana - percentage is not high , usually people fail medical means really something happen to their health .

disturb - don't worry . Usually it takes a month plus to 2 of waiting time before medical . Real waits start after medical .

mafinnan - wow your medical is similar to mine . I did mine on 2 sept . No news means good news . Try give them a call and ask for updates . Hope it helps !

How about you?, still no news from them?.

I officially waited one mth plus since my first interview. Right now I'm thinking if I should proceed with looking for other full time job first. As to play safe if my application is unsuccessful, I am already working full time job. On the other hand i worried that if i were to work other full time job, later on police force offers me.

Dreiframe - no news yet . As I am on probation 3 years contract , will take much longer . My last process is 27 nov for 3rd interview . So now still waiting . I would suggest you to work full time . The real waits start after medical . Unless you confident that you are superb till Spf wants you immediately . Then it will take very very fast . My friend is one of them , took him about total 2 months plus . I do have friends that wait till now , medical is on 21st July . So it really depends !

@DanT 3rd interview?. Your applied for senior officer?. Ya I think is better to find other full time job first. I read on other forum, lots of people are waiting too.

@DanT Just called them today again for the fourth time and its always the same procedure that they follow. They take your IC number and put you on hold for about 5 minutes and return with the same exact answer they gave in the previous calls. "Your status is currently in progress. We will be calling ou soon! Cheers!" Well I hope being patient will pay off at the end!

Mafinnan - don't worry . You are not alone for this . But at least you had the .. We will be calling u soon which means already got hope . Just give them time . Cuz if reject will not be any calls only email

@Dant Wow shenton medical just email me to go for check up!!. The check up is it similar to saf before we enlist?.

@dreifame firstly , congrats !! yes is about the same . Check eyes , heart , hearing , blood .. But just that a little more stricter with results !
