A weekly roundup of the most interesting Web discussions by
Singaporeans.
Not on company time
SURFING pornographic sites while at work is a definite no-no, say
netizens.
The discussion started after the MP for Potong Pasir, Mr Chiam See
Tong, fired former taxi driver Lim Kian Heng for such an alleged
misdemeanour.
Mr Lim is now apparently trying to run against Mr Chiam in Potong
Pasir.
soulhacker says that people should refrain from visiting
pornographic websites at work, especially out of 'respect' for
female colleagues.
pkchukiss says: 'When you are on the job, you make sure that you
perform the job that you are hired for, as you are on the company's
time.
'Checking e-mail and surfing websites when you have work to do is
unfair to your employer.'

All for you, dad
AFTER getting lost on a snowy mountain, the Singaporeans who went
to Japan to find an elusive karate master have apparently tracked
him down. Well, maybe not because there are doubts that he may not
be the man.
Still, netizens who initially laughed at the group are now singing
a different tune.
Rogue thinks the group should be lauded for fulfilling their late
father's wish.
Another netizen agrees: 'The children are being very filial by
doing so much to fulfil the wish of their parents. I would do the
same, if it were within my means.'
