zocoss SG Hi, anyone here have any idea what is a Good cinema & wat is a Bad one. From Seats to Popcorns, Staff behavior, etc... Anyone been to the new Cathay?
mamamamama SG Bad ones -floors not carpeted -seats are "creaky" & hard can't think of any things else but these 2 are enough to kill ur experience in the cinema..
photo_seeker SG For me, almost all cinemas seems good to me so far. As for The Cathay, it's suppose to out-win the current Cineleisure and their service standards is much higher due to a different crowd. Their crowd are mainly office staffs and also SMU students.
shade343 SG $5 what you expect? The best I think is the New Cathay. The seats are really comfortable and the couple seats are snuggy.
ernie84 SG i think shaw in bugis cannot make it..super dirty..seats all at same level..got tall joker seat infront of u..cfm get blocked one..think they shld do someting bout it..no carpets on the ground…sound quality..ok lah..but..their cleanliness turned me off..
Combo DudeZ SG hmm as im tall i hav to sit lower till the top of my backside around the kidney area and cannot watch the show peacefully ! some more the people so noisy laughing and pushing here and there _ ! still wan me sit lower ! thk bout themself but not others ass holes !
chanff8 SG Cineleisure's sound system too loud, way louder than the average sound systems of other cinemas. I like lido, spacious and the air-con is just right
^tamago^ SG i dun like cramped seats and sticky, non-carpeted floors..... like lido... i wonder when will they upgrade....
darknessfall SG i like lido.....because can bring in food and the usher dont even care much! haha....but of cse if you dont like someone eating too noisly, can go complain too...
