A_vErY_pOoR_gUy SG my dad car was due for servicing (60k)this mornging.....we weere so pissed out after that. they say the front suspension( requires $700++ for new one) got problem. saying the lower bar leaking. duno whether true or not.say there is some stains over that. i touched it and it was not even oily to my feel. he saw my reaction after touching it then he say the rubber surronding it proves it. this time bo bian...dunno lioa...tink he trying to smoke us. last yr, my dad car was recalled for the faulty SBC(sensonic brake control). then they drove to C&C to changed it for us. b4 that, my dad car stalled occasionally even at cruising speeds. aftet eh car was backed...they say they changed the air mass sensor which they claim will solve the stalling problem. true enough, it wsas ok after that. but the problem is my father fren car was ok after changing the SBC. so now we dunno whther is the SBC or air masssensor. we werre so pissed off then quesion them abt the air mass sensor(500++). then they say write off for us! where got write off then write off one. guess they din changed at all in the first place! anyone got technical knowledge on this to advise us? or recommended any other worskshop? ( surpirasingly, this workshop got many merc there, this morning there around ten) tink thewy treating us as choppping board
A_vErY_pOoR_gUy SG the car is back. guy explain thrust bar and lower bar of merc alwis spoilt. usually last less than 60. say our last v long liao! then i aks how come my father fren go C&C no need to change. he say C&C change parts dun tell u since it still under warranty. the receipt is big as well!
pqr SG the e240 should be less than 6 month? I heard nowaday a lot of merc got problem and is not as reliable as b4 too high tech also a problem sometimes ; software bug

Praetorian111 SG Go back to C&C to ask them to look into this problem…. They did not highlight to you the last time round may be becos you are there only for servicing… verfied the problem before making the decision of whether to go back to the workshop to do or to leave it at C&C.

My wife went to use the car and coudn't get the seat belt to realease from its retracted position.i brought the car back to the dealer and it took 3 days to correct the problem.I drove the car for approx 1 week and an indicator light alerted me to the fact my abs and srs was not functioning.This was attributed to a Gateway failure that took 3 weeks to fix.The third insult came a month later when I started hearing an annoying knock coming from the rear of the car.This was the 3rd or 4th trip back to the dealer in as many months as i had the car.At first they told me it was a loose heat shield.After driving the car out of the service area and getting on a fairly uneven road the thumping was still evident.I scheduled another appointment and started to get that sinking feeling of not making the right choice in buying this vehicle.On the Fifth service the thumping was identified as 2 defective rear shocks.This took almost 4-5 months to sort out.My latest outrage is having to pay $720.00 for brake pads front and rear,without rotors.I only have 21,500 miles on the OD.All of the other premium brand cars i have owned went atleast 30,000 and it would only be the front pads needing replacement.I just brought the car in for an oil change and a brake recall.I like Mercedes slogan "Service like any other" Should be "Service worse than any other"My partner has an ML 350 and he is also having his hands full fixing problems.
A_vErY_pOoR_gUy SG oh my god. so much problem... heard of the central gateway problem. it some hardware problem..tink too much software. normal. radio sometimes w/o sound, srs light comes up and such. but the problem is when i collected the vehicle, i see the rest of e merc like preparing to change the front thrust arm! or front lower arm. got one 40+ uncle watching his merc changing also. his face does not look gd as well. and they changed the sparks plug. total got 12 spraks plug. but dad fren din have his chnaged when he goes to C&C. and the worst thing is they dun even bother to wash the car this time. &^*%$ tink i need to teach them some customer relationship management.......
A_vErY_pOoR_gUy SG got leh. used to be alwis got wash, vacuum, then tyre shine somemore.. tink they bo chup also liao….anyway, its a 2k receipt…should they car wash for my dad?
