Actually a lot of things are dangerous, but we make sure nobody crosses the line. Well .. blanket party also dangerous but we still do it.

Rugby is a full body contact sport. Surely they can tahan a bit of hantum here and there.

I'd say hang him.... 17 years old should know better. Even a primary school kids know how to play fair.

Also, punishment is NOT just for the perpertrator, but potential offenders, anyone who think they can get away with murder because the name of the school carries some weight.
