Long hair can still live in hot climate like Singapore.
However there are difficulties as a consequence. For example, long
hair dogs will get hot easily when walking under sunlight for some
time, so it will pant easier than say short hair dogs. But there
are dog owners who trim their long hair dogs, so the hair doesn't
grow very long and the dog isn't so hot.
