I mean in a soccer match or a violent sport like rugby. The law assumes the participant of the game knows and accepts the risk before taking part in the game.

But if the family sue maybe will fail if it is a reasonable risk , ie , if he dies while basejumping because of heart attack , unforesable, but if he dies because the rope snapped due to poor maintanence , hohoho the poor operator will kana sue until no underwear left

this law doesn't apply in all countries u know. In Italy, someone can be held criminally responsible if a racing driver dies in an racing accident. Happned with Ronnie Peterson's death driving a Lotus at Monza in '78, happened with Senna's death driving a Williams at Imola in '94.
