Hmm...for starters, do not bring plastic or shopping bags. They
make you look gay.
Bring a utility knife.
When they say bring 3 sets of clothing, bring 4.
Bring all the optional items, if any, included in the list.
Bring Torchlight.
Poncho.
Hiking boots are good.
Bring sandals/slippers. For times when you just do not need shoes.
Eg: going to toilet in the middle of the night, after shower,
etc.
Most important: an open mind, prone to new possibilities. If this
is your first time camping, be prepared to face a little bit of
hardship. But it will be fun!
