In search of master
THE saga of the three Singaporeans who got lost on what they said
was a mission to find a legendary karate expert on a snowy
mountainside in Japan has tickled many netizens.
One of the trio had said: 'Japan looked so small on the world map
that we thought we would be able to find him straightaway.'
Le_coq chortle writes: 'I buay tahan (cannot stand) this
statement...hahahaha, especially coming from a Singaporean.'
Referring to fictional pugilists and their techniques in Chinese
movies, cslkelvin says: 'Maybe they are looking for a Pai Mei shifu
(master) to teach them the fatal Five-Point Palm Exploding Heart
Technique.'

Skits on sexual abuse
ARE skits an effective way to teach schoolchildren about sexual
abuse?
radish does not think so, and pooh-poohs one such initiative by the
Singapore Children's Society. The skits teach children the
difference between a good touch and a bad one.
He says: 'This is teaching the child HOW to react after being
TOUCHED!' p> azacamis thinks that the skits can be a good
deterrence.
'This is telling the perverts that now, kids know that they (the
perverts) are sickos and they can forget about hoping no one will
find out...'
