If never push, the benefit of vtec is more towards fuel saving. The power of vtec can usually be realised beyond 6000rpm...

Old vtec tend to be more powerful less fuel conscious
new vtec tend to be more fuel saving, at the expense of power

Somehow true but if on stright rd, VTEC rules..lolx..althought i dun drive one..but of cos after modding la...

It also depends on wat type od corners also...cos if both car entering a corner at same speed, same angle,front wheel drive is more likely to understeer den a 4wd car...Its so called proven but to me..i dunno la..i feel go into any corner at 20km/h is the safestst..lolx....

I felt in corners of 99bend,using 2 of my vehicles,4wd somehow better..dunno issit really lik tat or "XIN LEE ZHUO YONG" cos its a 4wd.. Laughing

vtec solenoid kicks the cam at 5200rpm to be in exact! hee... vtec feels much better than i-vtec man. the sudden thrust forward.... there's a new civic on the way. it's civic 2006! check it out online.. pretty cool!

rolling on at speed, NA has a distinct advantage to make use of the power available in higher revs. but seriously in a drag, TCed 4wd cars will make mincemeat outta a NA FF car (stock vs stock). this is true for most cornering scenarios as well. 4wd gets a car 2 turn better than juz 2wd and that is a fact. the key to go faster through a corner lies in the method of approach and exit and harnessing the salient characteristics of each type of vehicle to do so.

if the same driver is as equally skilled in driving a NA FF car and a TCed 4wd car, it is likely that 4wd will still come out tops.
