newmanmback SG both 17" and 19" lcd default resolution is 1280x1024...wont see how this will affect display performance...mayb ita can give details of the weird things happening...model of both lcd and the manufacturer more detail model of the ATI x700 card...if its PCI-e or AGP....did the new samseng lcd startup test on the spot before he/she buys it and bring it home...more information is better for us to help mayb...most newer lcd and card can auto tune and suto detect the correct or workin refersh rate (both horizontal and vertical)...should not be a prob?
ndmmxiaomayi SG Uninstalled LG monitor drivers? Your PC probably detects 2 monitors and selected the old monitor as the default monitor.

ndmmxiaomayi SG Try restarting in safe mode. If there's no problem in safe mode, it indicates conflicts within the computer, either drivers or software conflicts.
