trust me i tried to relex. i dont think it will flop.
did u see the trailer? it was awesome!
check out the official site and watch the trailer.
unlike resident evil, silint hill bring lots of element from the game.
it even have the evil dirty world that the game had.
the character is nice. they only chg the lead star. female actress instead of
harry mason. the snow and city look just like in the game.

its way so cool....
the only shitty stuff is the release date for singapore! Sad Crying or Very sad

Xcert SG

my apologies...I thought its a game U are talking about...but anyway...even if its a movie...the price U pay for supporting the people who came up with the movie is to wait for the original to be released here...it would be too risky to have a worldwide release when they dunno if people will like it...I know U do...but U are not going to pay millions to see a movie right?

that's the lure of the dark side.... Laughing Mr. Green

eddyshinoda SG

you have some good pointers.
and of cos i will not pay a million to watch a movie.
but just consider and think of this,
does sony pictures or singapore film board decide when to air the movie?
its our country and our own people who decide when to play it.
even if i say lots of stuff here, it wont chg the release date. duhh....

hisoka SG

actually since the show has been made and publicity done i doubt a worldwide release would cause more losses. especially when they are going to release it anyway......

Xcert SG

publicity at each country is a cost by itself...trailer airtime, promotions if any...etc...

eddyshinoda SG

this is 1 of the movie pics.....

Xcert SG

I think its the distributors who decide when to release..the film board people...ie the censors...only decide on the rating it gets...

yes its our country and own people....but its their film...so we also cannot tell them what to do...if they not happy then they just dun release it here lor...singapore market not that big leh....its a balance for all involved to find the win-win situation.... Laughing Mr. Green

digicharat SG

from my years of watching movie... i've learnt not to trust the trailer completely...
that 1 - 2 min of trailer may be exciting. but that might just be the only exciting thing in the movie. Laughing

SixSentinels SG

just look at how Doom3 was made into a movie of the same name, the movie totally sucked, but the game was good. really. it seems the movie made a big joke out of the game i dont even wanna watch it a second time, got bored in the second half of the movie too..

FBI SG

dude if u want good stuff then jus wait for it
