Have internet when I was in poly year 1, that is 1999, singnet
dial up 56k plan, but my modem is only 36.6kps only, till i change
to 56k modem. Then change to max online 2 yrs back for 1500kps then
upgrade to 6500kps when the 1 yr contract is up, cos I want the
wireless bundle on max online.
I even surf on 24.4 modem, but the connection speed is only 12.8,
although the plan was 56k plan. The service, Starnet in army, whcih
can be use to surf net. Damn freaking slow. Now they are using
faster speed le, think its 1 Mbps, not very sure.
IRC, ICQ, those were the days. Always go IRC to dl mp3s, den have
to queue for it. Den while waiting, will go chat with girls in IRC,
haha.
