the one i have doesn't use springs.. it uses this counterweight
which you pull (it's shaped like a pine cone but it's metal and
heavy)
that weight slowly comes down as the pendulum swings away keeping
time...
at every half hour, the cuckoo comes out to herald the passing of
the half hour... top of the hour, say at 2 o'clock gets 2 calls, 3
o'clock gets three.. at the bottom of the hour, there is one
cuckoo...
so, again i implore, does anyone know where to get someone to fix
the thing? the call is kinda weird and not like a cuckoo anymore..
