So sad to hear about your car being scratched...I once owned a 23yr old Charade (my first beauty) and even when that got scratched I got really upset, so I can understand what you're going through. I'm also worried about that happening once I get my ComfyChoc. Dunno why got such boliao people, think Kamen is right, they are just jealous of our beauties, most likely they are students. Do you live near any schools? I live near an ITE, always got these students hanging around my void deck and stairwells smoking, eating and leaving their rubbish behind, making lots of noise...
Anyone got any ideas on how to prevent this kind of vandalism? Besides hiding in a corner 24hrs a day trying to catch the culprit red-handed of course keke...

this type of vandalism cannot be avoided..if the guy wana do something to ur car, they will find chance to do it..even if you are supermen also cannot 24/7 on the lookout rgt????even if caught, that guy will not go to jail as this is private property and not government, therefore cannot really classified as vandalism....they will qoute it as mischief, which is a civil suit against the other party

Speaking of scratches, not sure if this will help or not, but I read an ad in Torque magazine about a film which can be applied to the body of the car, looks like gladwrap but its supp to be really tough, and its laser cut to fit the contouring of any car, no creases or air bubbles in between too. Its supp to prevent flying sand or stones from scratching your paintwork, so guess it should help against accidental scratching from handbags or watches too, but not against vandals hell bent on leaving their mark.
Anyway will call up to find out more details like cost and stuff... Smile

Hey does anyone know a good alarm system for a Comfort? The SE recommended me not to install an alarm, she says it will interfere with the locking mechanism, but I'm not sure if that's true...
Also looking for a good workshop that does bodykits for Marchies, preferably fiercer than the original kits (did anyone see the Impul March? Phooaaaa!), anyone got lobang?

itz better to use the stock locking mechanism......as for the kits,tehre are various places which can do almost everything but the prices are also stupidy high...try to get lots of quotation b4 deciding....you can look for NYC....he got everything

Hey kkt,
Yup think something should be done about the way they handle such cases. Most times people get away scot free cos there's just no proof that he's the culprit, even if you saw him do it, its just your word against his. And not everyone is rich enough to go sue the idiot. I mean, if there's no penalty then what's going to stop these people from carrying on???

I have called japan site to check with Impul regarding their bodykits they only have them in one colour (White) you have to get them spray to match our march locally.

the singapore states that it is not a criminal offence, therefore police do not have the powers to arrest them unless you know sometimes quick thinking policeman can think of other offences to arrest them....but most of the time, cannot take the risk....cuz nowasday, they are more of a service provider than law enforcer... Confused
