Wah NYC, is the car a slave for you or are you the slave for your car? Wash every 2 days? You DIY or get pple to wash? With this kinda weather, I've not wash my car for 2 weeks already. Once you wash em, and the road is wet, the car in front will splash dirty water on your car. Feels like splashing on my face everytime after i wash my car. And incidently, for the past 2 meetups, after i wash and polish my car it rains the moment i drive out of the car park. #$%&*@

NYC if you wash the car yourself, maybe you can provide cleaning/polishing service on top of your ferry service. Mr. Green Maybe we can meet earlier on the 15th and you help us 'make up' our Marchies. Razz

ok buy your kopi then we meet at Yishun Dam at 7pm this Sat 1st Jan. Can also buy some snacks and have a mini picnic. Or we can meet there and go kopi later or even supper. Laughing

think somebody asked this ques before. the march's wing mirrors are fully convex and thus can distort distance estimation and hamper your safety assessment. so when you can see the cars on your side in the wing mirrors, DONT change lanes cos they are already very very near your sides.

safe bet is change lane ONLY when you can see the cars in your REAR view mirror.

some better wing mirrors have 2/3 flat and the most outside 1/3 is convex. this lets you know there are cars on your side and yet can judge distance properly.

i also almost kanna accidents few times due to this problem.

For those who knows how to get there, we will meet you at Yishun Dam at 7pm then. Those have not collected car and wanna join us can also meet at the MRT station.

You are so right abt it...! I almost cream a cab driver on my right once, when I took my car the 1st week. I thought I had enough clearance ..... reality came when the cab horned and cause him to E brake, that was not the end of it...! Shocked I realized the problem after few more times of close encounters .... Thank God I had that P.plate on...!! Some how the drives are more forgiving...! Of course not the cab driver...! bloody high beam me from the back for almost 40m ..! but I guess I m responsible for it. Wanted to tap my breaks to warn him.. but I try to keep my plate clean and not get marked...! So change back to the centre lane.. Sad

When I start off I use the old skool way of over taking or change lane..! "check back, check blind spot" ...! It helps.. ! Embarassed

Where is the love pple ??? You have to love your wheels...and treat her well.. and she will not fail you... I agree that it gets dirty very quickly that 's the point why I have to clean my car often !!! the weather is very bad..! I will just clean it with water to remove the rain drop stains..! BLACK CAR is very obvious when it has stains..! Embarassed

Cleaning services... can't handle it. Too much portfolio on my plate.... must delegate! Hahahaha.... Laughing

today i saw a sdv marchie.. greenlish blue. the driver so friendly, flashing her megawatt smile from a distance away.
i saw a few marchies in town, driven by men, but nobody smiled leh..aye
by the way, 15th jan i m down for a brownies instructor course, so i cannot make it. so sad.. Sad
