the location does matter if its far from shopping centre or supermarkets.. that's the main concern... if i were to buy an apartment.

If you live in condo and got car, then location does not even matter even if it is far from shopping centre or supermarkets cuz you got 4 wheels to do the leg work for you Mr. Green

Can't find fault with argument that if you own a car then proximity to stations or interchange is not important

However you'd have to consider if you wanna be your kid's chauffer to and from school, CCA activities, weekend classes, friend's house, etc etc. everyday, at any time. Laughing Sure there are school buses but a bus stop / station near home would really make his life (and subsequently, yours) easier .

Sorry to add....it's reasonable to have a car if you've the capability to afford a condo...but how many cars?

1 sounds reasonable...

If the husband uses the car to go for work, and and if his wife wanna go to the supermarket or market to add some groceries....in a case whereby, she has forgotten to buy something n she needs that to do her things....kinda inconvienient...

You are assuming one family in condo only own ONE car then that is a problem. But coming back, if got money buy condo and car what is another ONE more car for wife to use rite? If find so troublesome then don't live condo or have car lor Mr. Green

when the ends just meet...
if want 2 car for family convenience.. live HDB...
if not comfort living but 1 car..

if have extra $$
live in condo and 2 car..

Most of them are living off with one car, one condo....of coz there're two cars...but how many ppl can afford 2cars n a condo?

But if i've the extra $$$, i'll buy a EM or 5A/5I HDB flat...n with two cars...

And i'll have extra $$$ to spend on others...

I was there to visit the showhouse last weekend.

Am pretty impress by the setup.

But one thing bemused me. They are trying to market it as a house for 3 generation but I dun see any toilets or rooms on the 1st level. You can imagine how inconvenience it is going to create for the old folks. Need to go toilet, got to climb stairs. Need to go room, got to climb stairs...wah lao...
Can be real tiring and one miss step, tts it..Ambulance comes calling....
