Bored in Singapore?
F.ROAN.I.R thinks life in
Singapore is boring. He says: 'Other than window shopping, eating,
watching movies and having barbecues, there's nothing much to
do.'
Candyger agrees. 'The only
thing you can do here is either shop or play sports.'
However, lalala1999 says
that if he lived in other countries, he'll probably be doing the
same things too.
FarmerBrown also came to
Singapore's defence.
'Would you like demonstrations held at your doorstep and robberies
in your neighbourhood?'
Jayellefull would prefer
it if 'there was more natural scenery around'.

SYNAPSEMAN read with
interest a letter written to The Straits Times asking 'Why send
swimmers to Games?' (ST, March 23). He disagrees with this 'sure
won't win, why bother?' mentality.
He says: 'Many of our swimmers are rookies, that alone makes their
efforts highly commendable.'
Smallbully was also
impressed with their performance. 'If you don't even try, you'll
never have a chance of winning.'
Shuuji considers it an
achievement for the swimmers to have made it to the finals. She
writes: 'We've proven that we're good enough to get into the
finals, so who knows, maybe we'll get a medal next time!'
