Road hazards during CNY

No offences to those who does little driving, but I notice that there's alot of "new" users on the road during this CNY period. Drivers signal at the very last second, moving in the middle of 2 lanes, switching lane w/o checking for other road users. Geezz, within the 2 days of holidays, I've encountered dozens of near misses with such drivers.

It really makes me wonder if it's worth renting cars during holidays and get into serious accidents when one knows that they had not been driving since the last CNY. To make things worse, more taxis swerve ahead of you to snatch customers just to earn a little more, if you notice......

ya true.. saw a lot of new drivers oso… an got this honda city almost cut to my lane without signaling.. have to brake to siam him.guess he dint check his blind spot area.. juz drive carefully during CNY esp junctions. as new or inexperience driver judgement wouldnt be that accurate.

I guess I am 1 of those newbie drivers. I also almost filter into another car last time. But at least I have already signaled. We were taught to check blind spot, but never have I know that a damn 2.0L can actually squeeze itself into that spot beside/behind my Kelisa. Got a horn and I siam to slow down and let it pass, then filter.

But no excuse for not signaling, especially for new guys.

not jus the "new" driver will do this mah. some ppl who drive day in and day out also drive this way. not responsible at all. as long as the "new" driver is careful and follow the rule. then is fine.

Dun generalise la, what new drivers.. old drivers... Old uncles driving for dinosaur years also can be reckless one... Confused
