Funnny, I come across worldwide polls and other news media that state Zhang Zi Yi for her role in memoirs of a geisha. And some time back, it was Lucy Liu. Not that I think much of any of the three anyway.

You do know that you have a horrible track record to accuracy and truth right?

MacNaiker SG

BBC and Time reported the poll. Btw, there is no question as to why she is not the most beautiful woman in this world. The Global Diversity Award given to Aish by EU is a testament.

Rexdriver SG

By virtue of the fact that (a) she hasn't got the best figure by a coupla miles, (b) her face wears out on you with time, and (c) my wife is more beautiful than her, I'd say there are a lot of question and exclamation marks about her being the most beautiful woman in this world.

MacNaiker SG

I will not say she looked really good in her teens.

MacNaiker SG

The hypocrisy of the indian films industry never faills to amaze me. It had never been kind to females.Practically a male dominated field and gender biased. It had basically sidelined females to sex objects limiting their progress in the acting field
Many of the actresses are degree graduates and even so more highly educated than their male counterparts. There are no Whoopi Goldbergs or Meryl streep credited for their acting talents. In the 80s and before, the industry practiced nepotism. Chances were only given to those who had relatives or links to the film industry. The rsulting consequence was the stagnant braindead of talent. It finally opened its impregnable doors in the early 90s to fresh talent

The reason why it holds ashwarya rai on a pedestal is because she is a national icon.

Actually, there is a lot of questions, but not that you care anyway. So many other polls out there and you choose to single out these two. In any case, making such a decision on a mere two polls shows how eager you are to jump to conclusions. And pardon me, but in what way does global diversity award indicate a person is the most beautiful?

Funny thing I don't see your Aish being featured in FHM btw. Was she ever on the cover? Or maybe it did, but it certainly didn't catch the eye of most people I know. Does she even have a ranking in the annual poll by FHM? Or the poll by Maxim?

You can say all you want, but fact is, not many share your opinion.

MacNaiker SG

You verry funny. FHM bigger than Time and BBC?
What is FHM?

FYI Aish as once featured on 8 Days.

Let me tell u , I have seen Aish featured in countless foreign mag like E!. mags who have bigger presence than our unknown sg mags

MacNaiker SG

I am sorry to say this. The world is about Hollywood and Bollywood and other countries. Not mediacorp.

SumOne SG

Sorry, I wasn't referring to local FHM. And are you telling me you read read Time and listen to BBC for pretty babes? I guess it's just a different taste.

SumOne SG

I am NOT sorry to say this, you delude yourself. I don't watch TV much btw, be it mediacorp or anything else. As usual, you are making wrong assumptions as you always have been. Little fair faced oned.

MacNaiker SG

I know FHM is local but since when did world entertainent ever revolve around our tiny island. I am talking about the bigger scheme of things.

MacNaiker SG

I am sorry to say this but u are in no position (if u dont watch TV much ) to comment on Aish popularity.

You don't get it do you? As always.

but since when did world entertainent ever revolve around our tiny island. I am talking about the bigger scheme of things.

And since when did world entertainment revolve around Bollywood? Not that I mentioned Singapore or mediacorp btw, but I guess we all know what your real intentions are. If you're going to try and debate at least do it sensibly, but I guess you never learn do you?

Get real, world entertainment does not revolve around Bollywood, not even on a joint basis.

That aside, are you saying BBC and Time are great sources for entertainment related matters? Maybe they're your preffered source, but I'm sure most Indians don't feel that way.
