I notice that many driver had stop using the signal light to signal their intention, especially new car and luxury car. Your view please.

i absolutely detest such drivers! simply lazy, inconsiderate, insensitive and stupid. is it so difficult to signal BEFORE (note, not DURING, which i notice some drivers do. and that is plain covering their asses kind of behaviour that is equally abhorable!) making the move? perhaps these drivers should have their fingers chopped off since they refuse to use them.

Seem to be getting a lot of these kind of posting, like not using signal, not giving way, lousy taxis. I don't know about everyone else but, seems like there is no end to these all. Just drive safely, change a decent horn and horn when needed (not in protest, just warning kind).

Let's just make Singapore a better place to drive in. Should be desirable if all visitors of this forum take note and practice safe driving.

i agree with you. signal light is those add on thing.. must pay extra 10K to install..

Ya .. stop using signal light is something not really bad too, as in some driver can even signal and change lane at the same time. wat the difference? !?

got. any drivers caught not using signal light would be made to sit in their car and flick the signal light switch stalk a thousand times. Twisted Evil

they have the thinking that if u signal ur intention to move in, the car will speed up and not give way to u..or else i cant think of other reason y so trouble about to flicking the signal light.

in my opinion...its always the luxury and big saloon car......e.g merc, bmw, camry,...

they think they pay higher rd tax so no need to care for others .....i always dun give way to these big cars even when they signal to cut lane.... Wink

everyone of them should just change to a citreon and specify the optional lane change assist. the system would detect if they r moving across lanes without their signal turned on... and buzz their butts to wake up their ideas.. Very Happy

i admit i sometimes dun signal wheni change lanes too... but oni when the roads are totally empty..

Those big cars when they wan to park or cut lane or stop, they dun signal and when ur car is just behind them.... u jam brake cos they reverse backing or when they cut lane....they still got the cheek to stare at you and give u a "u r a idiot, cant u see my car wan to park/cut"

how the person behaves on the road is partly a reflection of the person in life.

being totally inconsiderate and selfish, and not giving two hoots about indicating his intention to others before executing the movement, even if it requires something as effortless as flicking the signal indicator, says alot about the person and how he conducts himself in life.
