I have met few DS people, they are so genuine like no normal
person. They can enjoy simple things and they get sad when you are
sad and they feel with you. We have a lot to learn from them. Maybe
they have a low IQ, but they have a huge sincere heart.
I know one 4 years old girl with DS, she is so cute and already
knows the alphabet.
DS people are not total idiots, it's us who make idiots of them. If
they get proper conditions for education, they can learn a lot.
When we just close them to special homes, we give them up, it's
unfair. The parents should give a chance to their DS
children.
We should give a chance to everyone who is in some way different.
Remember, one day it's you who can have an accident or get some
disease which affects you for the rest of your life, would you like
to be closed in a special home or avoided?
Nothing is granted, not even your mental or physical health.
