bladez87 SG erm how to do it ah? i doing the barbell lift. but i dont know how to breath properly. ahaha. thanks...i searched the google but i still dont understand how the proper method of breathing. but i do know breathing wrongly = shaving a few minutes of my life...
Simon Dean SG intra abdominal pressure, keep your breath in your abdominal while pushing the weight up, exhale when the weight is coming at rest position.
Simon Dean SG which barbell lift are you talking about?dont tell me bicep curls dont know why people like to do so much of this kindda isolation exercise.
bladez87 SG haha bicep curls XD or else you all teach me how to train la i got weights and barbell only. 10 10 5 5 kg. now i using 5 5 to train my bicep curls. shoulder i carry bar behind my head and lift up. then forearm i use sitting down and carry it using the wrists.
alkaiden SG a simple rule...breath out when ur exerting the force, whether pulling or pushing lets say for pull up. when u pull urself up u breathe out. when ur lowering urself u breath in when u bench pressing, u breath out when u push. and breath in when u lowering
Simon Dean SG i am still quite sure of the intra-abodominal pressure method where you keep your oxygen in your abdominal when exerting the force out and exhale
Simon Dean SG do deadlifts/squats/shoulder press/bench/rows dont waste your time with this kindda exercises whereby only one muscle group is trained.Stick to Core exercises that invovle back and legs. If you are not training your legs, you are not training, frankly i can tell you. Those strongman world series competitors hardly even touch benchpress or curls.
TwinTurbo_Supra SG yalor, bicep curls and bench press are overrated. try to concentrate on your hips and back and if possible, your legs. explosive strength is the key if u want to be strong. ps: if u want to punch people, work on your hips.
