heard that there's a guy call Leslie Chang ... he drove in a rally before in Australia .. his timin is first in singapore for the Subaru WRX STi .... met him before ... very funny guy ..

Good driver not necessary fast driver right?
My ideal good driver is skilled, courteous and considerate driver.

Skilled so that he can avoid accident, courteous so that he give way to others and considerate that he abide most of the law and don't delay ppl.

yep...i got this friend of mine....drives a wrx sti....i think he is a good driving. This fellow tailgated me while doing 200km/h....drives ns highway 160-180km/h...that is when the visibility was almost 0!!! Damn heavy rain cant see vehicle in front...... He is daring and knows his car well......

Still straight and highway. What I know is 4WD is best tested in corners, the excellent handling and grip on the road. Don't have to know your car well to drive straight on a highway.

Last time I went Australia for free and easy trip. We rent a Honda SUV auto (forgot what model). My friend did 160+km, with 5 other passenger and loads of lunguage to last 2 weeks, up Snowy mountains. And my friend didn't even drive after getting his license for 2 years. But my other more experience friend was tasked to tackle downhill at night. Feel so much like "Initial D" then. Too bad didn't have the music to go with it.

ya straight road….but how many can do tailgating at 200km/h?? But i believe to be a good driver , one needs to have the guts as well…....

Not many, but...... guess you have read these topic How fast is fast?. If not, read it to be impressed. Lots of nut case and big cars, wheels, engine, and balls around.

Go Kallang Rally and get the fella with best timing.

Or find one driving Civic whose timing outdo Evos and Rex. Better even if his car is non-modded family saloon wif best timing of the day. Mr. Green

Good driver doesn't mean he/she is speeding on the race track:

A good driver :
i) Must be considerate to ppl on the road.

ii) be patience not to rash and cause accident on the road.

iii) Hv a good clean track record continously for 5 yrs(provided u drive often)...

iv) Be road smart.

v) usually those higher than class 3 driver r good driver. I always respect their driving skills.

vi) Hv good defensive skills. ( eg. e- brake and avoid collision even u r in no wrong).

I agree. Not only must a good driver be technically competent (handle the car well), but also socially competent (handle the situation around the car well). Smile
