I live everyday by the principle that I have to live with what I
have done in the past, and religion or no religion, some things are
so deeply ingrained in my upbringing as morally wrong that I would
not feel good about doing it.
Besides, seeing that most of the problems we have today are caused
by religion or religious fervour in one way or another, I don't see
how religion's going to solve all my problems or answer any
questions I might have about the meaning of life.
However, there's an interesting phemonemon that I observe these
days... people who are agnostic seem to be proclaiming their lack
of a religion with a sense of pride, of belonging to an elite
group... seems like atheism has become a religion of sorts.
