The train I was in was delayed a while at a few stations... I
think Bugis, City Hall there. And drove very slowly to one station
too.
In fact, when I was waiting for train, I got a shock when I saw the
next train after the one I missed was 8 minutes. At 8+ in the
morning, when the interval between trains is usually 2-4 minutes.
So I took to Pasir Ris and back, and it turned out that train I
took was the same one had I waited 8 minutes (I timed).
