All I can really say is that I hope you're being truly sincere
in your apologies, for there's no true way for anyone to see
whether you're truthful or not.
So I'll give you the benefit of the doubt, and I forgive you. I
honestly hope you're not going to take advantage of people's
forgiveness. Because if you are taking advantage of my forgiveness
for you and still engage in bigotry and arrogance, then I pity you.
As you've realised, forgiveness the first time round is difficult
as it is - it'll be hard for anyone to forgive you for the second
time.
I take it that you're still too young and immature to truly have a
panoramic view of things - which explains for your viewpoint that
all poor people are slothful and lazy. I also see your stubbornness
in wanting to hold fast to what you believe in.
It's good to be focused, but you overdid your focus and got tunnel
vision instead. It's good to hold on to what you believe in, but
you overdid your stubbornness and turned it into bigotry instead.
Everything is better when done in moderation.
If you believe that you're not matured enough to be handling these
discussions on politics and current affairs, then my advice to you
is to stay out of these things. Go back to your DOTA. Come back
here only when you have truly matured.
I'm only sad that you have to learn these things the hard way. As
Ponders would attest, disillusionment isn't something to truly
enjoy.
