hullo shawnlim, based on your postings I reckon you want a car
that looks stylo, convertible, quite fast (5.xx sec range or
below). guess your budget should be 250K - 300K+++?
if you are prepared to spend that kind of money, I'm sure you
want these attributes:
-makes you look good
-has brand image
-can make some good sounding noise when needed when u are in F1
mood
-can cut/overtake 90% of all cars on the road
-can drive to a hotel valet with pride
-everyday usable car.
a lot of your friends will say go get this go get that, but do
they own all those cars they recommend? its your own choice and you
need to ask yourself what you really want.
my personal recommendation is to get SLK350. (forget about all
the jap cars including GTR - u will get sick of the ugly look after
1 month, it makes noise and is fast, but so what, its still
nissan). A lot of people just look at paper specs, but I guarantee
you the slk350 won't let you down, its much faster and sounds much
better than you think. and lastly, forget the z4, its really ugly,
don't what's the hype about it, ppl (esp the chicks) always look at
SLK instead of z4 :) boxster is next in line but its soft top and
you need to take extra care of where you park, so its more of a con
than a pro.
