How could all clever Singaporeans miss this, well.. they all were born after our times LOr!

We need YOUR help!

Please go to www.sgwiki.com.

It's a collaborative knowledge project for Singapore. Anyone can register and add in their little bit of knowledge to the project, extend it, correct stuff, make stuff more pretty, add an article, add a photo, whatever! anything and everything!

Right now its got all sorts of info about mainly buses and homosexual related topics- sounds odd yes, but we're a 'niche' provider at the moment Wink

We need more people to chip in and contribute their knowledge, even if its only about a small thing, if everybody does a bit it will snowball into a critical mass and then it'll be unstoppable. it can be about anything and everything! from Lesbians to Legislation, Zebra crossings to Zoos, Apples to Ang Pows!

LET'S GO!

Buses and homosexuality.

Whose fault now? Laughing

Donavan SG

Obviously the gays, the lesbians, and the over-enthu bus fans. Laughing Perhaps I should start an account and share my expertise.

LazerLordz SG

FireIce SG

Jason has a point. There exists much knowledge in-house or locally among citizens. By developing a work culture for innovation and knowledge application, all the tasks can be performed finally with in-house brands of expertise.

Furthermore, knowledge is not limited to academic or paper knowledge. In every enterprise there exists its own in-house expertise and practical knowledge.

If in-house staff are working as a team with coordination and knowledge application, the enterprise will over time develop to be its own best.

So it is self-reliance and nurturing or development of our own talents that will contribute more than the hype about foreign or famous talents from don't-know-where-and-when.

Governing elites have been making too many assumptions about progress, competitiveness that is based on what we do not have without knowing what they really need or want.

Talents are like dark cats in the proverbial dark room. How to search. Even those presumably to be talents are not delivering results nowaday. Those who are not recognised as talents may be the true talents as long as they are contributing to applications of whatever they are doing well. These practical knowledge are being bypassed or neglected for a long time to promote only proverbial foreign talents for self-serving reasons.

Yesterday ST got an article on wikipedia

Jason SG

No it won't! Now users need to confirm their emails before they are allowed to edit. I know... more hassle, but necessary to protect against vandalism. So... No reason not to chip in now! Smile

alexkusu SG

since so much hassle, some users wont bother to chip in. Unless they are really hardcore and really passionate about it.

charlize SG

Now what do I know about ditzy?

Heck, what do I know about myself? Laughing

In any wiki (online encyclopedia), you're expected to be neutral.

Example of biasedness:
Hitler was a great leader. His attitude spurred on the German troops. He was a great man. I will be proud of him. (Of course I don't like Hitler...)

Example of neutrality:
sgforums has many topics where people come together to chat. However, in such forums, you're expected to see some rubbish in there.

Confirm e-mail then won't vandalise Question
