most electrical appliances do not consume that much
electricity....make sure u switch off the mains when not in
use...including fans...u will find that the rear motor plastic case
is warm when u leave the mains power on when not in use. take note
aircon, water heater, hot iron, toaster, CRT monitor, TV need more
power to operate..include refreigerator when the compressor is
running at a regualr interval. so make sure check the insulating
strips around the fridge doors to make sure no leaks...else the
compressor will run often to take away the heat from inside the
fridge as hot warmer air slips in..
i believe gas and water should be more expensive
