me and 2 other transsexual friends were approached before down at orchard road. some woman told us she was working for some modeling agency, and she said she was looking or some youths to model. she said that she needed to take our photos and she'll call us back if they liked our faces.

we rejected though, afraid of them finding out the truth.

better be safe than sorry. when your pre-op trans you have to be extra careful not to get into any accdients. there was a case of this ambulance crew in the UK that just laughed at this pre-op trans woman and refused to help her after she got into a road accdient. she died on the spot.

I think modelling really doesn't consider a person's figure or look.
It really depends on what kinda model they're looking for the advertisement or shooting. Say... if the theme is hawker centre Char Kway Tiao entrepreneur then they may be looking for a fat guy that doesn't look special.

But of coz, let not talk abt those Men's Health/Men's Uno/Urban kinda Prince charming ones lar hehe.

I think another criteria is that you must be shaved/relatively hairless.

first work with other photographers to build up your portfolio. i can reccomend some good ones. its free. Or to get job opportunities u can sign up at

And after you get those pics and od some basic jobs like paid work, commercial, IT shows..etc. u can like go and send your portfolio to reputable agencies liek , jeffreychung, quest, elite...etc. and hopefully they will accept u
