Hmmmm, this is called self-centered? Then others' actions who
are worse will be termed with what word from your everlasting vast
vocabulary of mostly which are only vulgarities?
Apparently the self-centered mind of yours (yes, you have one too,
based on your very obvious biased way of interpreting such a simple
few paragraphs of English text) thinks that every man will enjoy a
good day in office and work, and will have to pamper everybody he
sees or whom he shares a close relationship to.
As you have known, (sorry, I take that back -- you wouldn't have
known this, in your little pea-brain) quarrels are common in
relationships, as gladly pointed out by a sensible forumer in this
fast-growing thread.
Putting others' needs in front of you may prove fatal as points of
time. Obviously, the person being pampered will, according to a
nice Chinese proverb de2 chun4 jing4 che3 (getting an inch and
demanding a foot, meaning that the person will want more than what
he received).
There is always a boundary limit to things. There is no one in the
world who can maintain a cool temper throughout every day, and have
the knowledge of dealing with bumps in relationships. Men and
women's minds work differently. And this is why communication
exists, so that both can understand each other better.
You think (sorry, you don't think -- you whine) that the
threadstarter is showing attitude? How about you have a bad day in
office and I would want to see how you treat your partner, if you
even have one, which I can confidently bet that you lack.
We better behave? Who are you to dictate, as though you are a
dictator, our standard code of behavior? No one can control what
someone else does, except maybe through law. I doubt the lawmakers
in Parliament who has much higher intellect than what you possess
are as eccentric as you enough to pass such a law.
Who says that the threadstarter did not listen? He attemped to
salvage the situation, but it was his partner who unfortunately
rejected it. Although I have to agree that he should be persisted
as what many others would do, I felt that you cannot term him as
"not listening". This again shows how poor your interpretation
skills are.
And before you attempt to fight back towards my arguments, please
do not use vulgarities. Although you might argue saying that "who
am I to lay down these rules", but at least you can partially
recover your already tarnished image.
