sgFish SG 3rd choice. IMO we should never produce smart machines (as described in your other post) capable of sentient thought and action in large numbers, only industrial ones with just enough AI to do economic work…

Ashiene SG yes i agree. life is exciting because we never know whats gonna happen next. there so many discoveries to be made, so many places to explore, a vast universe to journey across, many planets to colonize and explore, many people to meet, many new theories to be formed, many many things to do that makes life to interesting!!

Ashiene SG unfortunately our society is progressing towards that stated in the first choice because Man's dream is to create a machine in his likeness to do his job so he may rest and be free from worldly burdens. thats why we meddle with Genetics (we want to be a superbeing) Robotics (we want to create machines to help us) Metaphysics (we want to understand how our minds work so we may enhance it) all because we want to create a world like that in the first choice.

Ito_^ SG there should be a law to make sure machines dun reach self-realization and intelligent machines should not have strong physical hardwares. society and human development should have a hybrid nature but the control and priority should always belong to only organic lifeforms and not the other way round. honestly, choice 3 is abit too nice for me. i'll choose choice 1.
