Ashiene SG These are harlequin babies and other babies inflicted with strange, extremely painful and damaging diseases. Look at the huge gaping wounds on their faces and bodies...They are sad, really. Most do not survive into adulthood, but those who do continue to suffer throughout their lives. We should always be thankful that we are born without such diseases, for no amount of words are able to describe the torment and daily suffering these babies endure. It pains me to look at these photos, but it must be done. We must spread awareness of these diseases and hope the world sympathises with them.

gr2012 SG oh my goodness... Poor kids... I feel for them. But why are they born in the first place? Why werent they aborted? Sure saves them a lifetime of suffering.

Ashiene SG coz the babies werent inflicted with the disease until they were born. exposed to the world, their skin started to flake and crumble, becoming as fine as dust, the skin would crack and blood would pour from the cracks and long deep wounds.. or the babies were inflicted but the disease wasn't detected until after birth..
