1. Sit down lor, if others have not chope the seat already (maybe coz I'm female, so can be thick-skin and sit back down)

2. Yes, giving up seat is up to me, doesn't not matter if my friends are there. I may even ask them to give up their seats.

3. No, not to kiasu young ppl, unless they are old and frail or pregnant.

2. Mmmm, I had a situation like that once, just that at least more than 10 friends. So paiseh leh. I didn't have the courage to ask that person to sit down, so Igot up, and walked to my friend on the pretense of talking to her, and that person sat down.

3. See first lah. Depends on how "fallable" that old person is.

ok earlier i witnessed something unpleasant inside the mrt. i was standing by the door and near me there were this foreign lady and also this old woman who was holding the handle. seeing the old woman almost falling everytime the mrt stopped, the foreign lady asked if the old woman was alright and she just said fine. the foreign lady even asked one man talking on his hp politely to give up his seat but the man just keep pointing to his hp indicating that he's currently on the line. i could see the face of the foreign lady quite unhappy. stil no one giving up their seat ignorant of what just happened until the next stop when one lady alighted than the foreign lady directed the old woman to the empty seat.

i bet the foreign lady do have a bad impressions of singaporeans. Laughing
