Just got my new car. My friend suggested that I installed a
secondary alarm system on top of the default immobiliser that comes
with the car. Don't trust the factory default immobiliser as most
of the techs that service the brand of the car know how to break
them.
Is the cheetah immobiliser good ? The highest the model the better
the security ? In addition to immobiliser, should we install gear
lock or brake lock ?
Which one is better ? I know with all these gadgets there is still
no 100% protection from car theft. It just that if I have some $$
to spend to enhance the car security, what items should I invest
in.
I get some information from the Internet and most of the
information relates to USA where they got GPS service for anti car
theft. Don't think this service is available in Singapore. If yes,
do they cover M'sia too ?
