Why young parents nowadays like to talk english to their young
children?? It juz make me feel disgusted by hearing them speak ang
moh to the kid and i feel that more n more chinese ppl in singapore
is becoming banana… I feel that Singapore chinese is the only
nationality in the world that feel their own mother toungue very
hard to learn, u try asking ang moh, indian, malay, italian,
french, dutch, arabian, brazilian, spanish ppl etc. Will they reply
u tat their MT very hard to learn n refuse to learn n speak? I dun
think so for the majority, even they feel its hard but they still
learn n speak.
